Get mentally high
Your unconscious mind is your higher mind. So what you’re looking for are intuitive ideas coming from your unconscious mind. This step is quite natural because once you’re emotionally strong, your mind clears allowing intuition to flow. However here are some tips. Reflect on planted seeds. Seeds can be books, music, art, people, or experiences in your life. You can reflect on the seeds you’ve planted and see where that takes you. Ask your intuition some questions. For example, what would be an excellent adventure to go on? What would be a good way of make a living? Maintain some mental space. For your seeds to grow, you need to give them some space. That means eliminating stressors, distractions, excuses, and constraints. A Goal is a tangible outcome that brings you closer to your vision. Goals should be SMART:
Set a stretch goal, one that requires you to push your limits.
The first step in execution is to commit to your Vision and Goals. Do this while you’re still emotionally high. The more real you make your commitment, the more likely you’ll achieve it. Thoughts are imaginary; they’re weak. Write down your Vision. Tell someone. Better yet, make one of your goals a deliverable. Put a deadline on it. Make yourself accountable.
Prepare for Resistance
Have you ever gone to bed with an inspired idea only to wake up the next day with the realization that it wasn’t realistic, and you feel worse for deluding yourself? That, my friends, is the work of resistance. Resistance is the counter force of Inspiration. Inspiration comes from love; strength from fear. Our egos don’t want change so resistance balances out inspiration. It’s a force balance.Resistance is a part of nature; it will happen. However if you recognize it, you can push yourself past the discomfort.
Go back and revisit your Vision. Reconnect with that emotional high. Remember your commitment. Then go forth and take Right Action.
