Fouled Plug - Valve Seal or Piston Rings

I crashed my 2002 Bajaj Legend last month. Laid it down and it slid about 25ft. I had it serviced/tuned up before I left Philadelphia and moved to Portland, Maine this month.

Before my accident I'd already had problems with it stalling out frequently. I replaced an oily spark plug last week. After ridding several miles it ran much smoother. Today I have a difficult time starting it and keeping it from stalling especially while idling.

I checked the week old plug and on one side it's just starting to turn dusky black. It doesn't look wet though.

I think that it must be the valves or the piston rings. I figure it's going to be an expensive repair but I've had the Bajaj for 5yrs and it's such a powerful and dependable ride. It gets up to 80 miles to the gallon. So I'd like to get the work done on it.

I just moved to Portland Maine and don't know where to take it. It looks like there are several places in NH. I want to take it somewhere that is familiar with Bajaj Scooters and has performed this type of work. That leads me to ask:

1. Does anyone know of a place close to Portland that I could bring it?

2. If not is there someplace in NH?
