I bought a scooter online($1649). All I had to do was bring in a bill of sale with the indication that the engine was under 50cc (mine is 48.5cc). Paid the $3.00, received a moped plate and for the past two years since done registration by mail. My scooter on level road will do 38 mph. down hill it will get up to 45-48 mph. uphill it may drop down to 18 mph on a very steep hill almost 45 degree angle. I have a two stroke from Qianjian.
