Looking to investing some time and money into a vintage vespa, but go to college in California (can't pass emissions with a dirty 2 stroke) . Love the style of the rally 200, would it be possible to install a newer engine like a 4 valve 4 stroke 200cc in it. I want the bike to still function like a classic, i.e. manual shifter etc. but be a little more eco friendly. any advice on where to start for this project? how many parts need to be upgraded for the new engine, is it even possible? any advice is greatly appreciated, thanks!
