Oil light is on and can't get my Vento to run

I have a 2003 Vento Zip 3. It hasn't run for a while because I was waiting for my rear axle seal to come in. After it came in and replaced it, I got my moped to start, but runs for about 2-3 seconds and dies on me. I noticed that my oil light indicator came on (which happened to for the first time), so I filled it up with a quart and the light did not go off nor did the motor kept running. Is there a reset for the oil light?
