170cc Screamer kit - Has anyone installed one?

I recently purchased a 170cc Screamer kit for my Vento Phantera Scooter. The kit comes with a predrilled crankcase to fit the oversized cylinder and head. My mechanic has run into a snag in that the stock crankshaft fits too tightly into the custom crankcase, so the bike will not turn over. Has anyone else ever installed one of these kits, and if so, what type/brand crankshaft did you use that fit correctly in the case?
