FFrom my research.......this is what I learned from 3 mechs from west coast to florida...................
Any belt can shred for no reason, wether it's kevlar or not. I like the kevlar belts because they stand a better chance and they're not much more than a bando.
There's a matter of proper install with the spacers in the trans, the old derbi engine was horrible and destroying belts kevlar or not if everything wasn't just right but the new ones are a lot better about it.
