hi to get speed out of xt 50 take exhaust off look up the exhaust you will see that it is narrower some sort off weld i myself used small grinding tool take it all out, also put a universil air filter on , the other one is only for show it does nothing to the bike , after that its about 45-50mph but make sure you grind inside of exhaust properly ,i done mine after about 110 k from new and ran it on private road to build speed up gradually over a week then change oil to good grade also some suppliers use restriced cdi under the seat,but not them all happy to help, chas.
