> Hi, through my experience with all kinds of bikes, mopeds, and scooters one thing worked ALWAYS AND ON ALL MODELS.....especially on mopeds having an exposed high tension lead. SOLUTION....EASY and INEXPENSIVE..... Get an old inner tube from a bicycle or motorcycle, cut a piece of the inner tube a little longer than the high tension wire, pull the high tension lead off from the spark plug, slip the inner tube on the high tension wire to cover it from the coil or cdi right down to the spark plug cap, put spark plug cap back on apark plug, slip end of inner tube right down to the cylinder head. This way any water splashing on the engine will never get to the high tension lead. You see; wire gets wet=no spark, no spark=no go! Have fun (even in the rain). Paul.
