V belt Oil?

I was looking at my malaguti f12 lc today and saw a white knob on the back of the black v belt drive box so I unscrewed it and looked in and I saw some gear looking things and there was no oil in there and below the knob it says oil 110cm or whatever So Do I have to put oil in it so it fills up and what kind of oil do I put in it? Thanks please answer my question... Im tired of waiting several years and nobody responding.
