Try the Derbi forum on their website. This will give you some info.

Responses from two different dealers about the availability of the Derbi GP1 in the US as of April 2006 (Dealers names omitted):

Response 1: "The derbi line is no longer in production from the info I have...If there are any, then they are left over stock and you'd need to look up dealers to see if they have any stock or search ebay. Sorry I can't help better."

Response 2: "According to Derbi they will not have any bikes for sale in the US for maybe a couple years. Don't exactly know why but this is what they are telling the dealers. It seems stupid that you take an estsablished dealer network and throw it down the toilet. Piaggio owns it now and they do some funny things. They have a lot of Vespa dealers a little upset witht he decrese in margins and going with Artic Cat and BMW dealers."
