1980 honda express gas and oil mix

I have found a 1980 Honda Express, but it needs work first i need to know does the gas and oil mix seperately or do i have to mix the two together before poring it into the tank? The reason I ask this is because it has a seperate tank for both. What kind of oil would i use?
