Bought a Retro LX in Oct. NEVER started, not once. Followed all the start-up instructions. Multiple calls-no results. Finally found a cycle shop to take it to. THEY can't get it started. They have finally tried to order something called a CDI (I think) but have had trouble with how the company wants it ordered.
Long and short- took the advice given on another site and called our credit card co. They asked us to document one more try at return/refund. They have credited our account the cost of the scooter-so far anyway. Maybe if enough people do this they will change their policy.
ANYWAY-Don't know if it will ever start. Haven't heard from the cycle shop lately. Will let you know. I don't think it will EVER run, or run well. We may have gotten a refund, but we also have a pile of junk that won't work, so no bargain there. Don't know what we will do with it if they can't fix it. There isn't even enough scrap metal in it to pay the mechanic's bill.
