Thank you so much for all your messages about GS Motor Works scooters! I was thrilled when I saw the retro LX for $1099, but immediately suspicious since it's so much cheaper than most scooters. After reading about your ordeals, I'm quite hesitant to buy one--the assembly part especially scares me. It's too bad, because I love the retro model. But I'm a new driver and could barely understand the nature of all your problems, much less what I'd have to do to solve them! Still, yor scooters seem to be different models than the retro LX. So if anyone has a retro LX and advice on that, please fire away. MY other option is a $1699 Beamer II made by Eton, sold locally.
