I own a 1984 Yamaha 180z (Riva) that I would like to give away - FREE - to a good home. This scoot was owned by my son who purchased it in 1994. He flipped it in 1995 and since that time, the bike has been sitting in my basement. The scoot has a broken front cowling (I'm told that this can be repaired by someone who's clever with fiberglass), broken headset (I have a replacement, however, it's yellow and the bike is black) and a broken storage container (again, this can be repaired with fiberglass). Since the bike has been sitting for 10 years, the gas tank and the carb will need cleaning. Again, the scoot was running when it went into storage. This is a project bike that can be repaired - by someone who is willing to take the time and make the effort. Oh yeah, the rear tire is new but leaks - I think due to an incorrect valve stem. If you are handy and mechanically inclined this could be a great project scooter - if you are neither, please let it go to someone who is. The bike is located in Londonderry. You can e-mail me at Scootafun@Yahoo.com.
