I live in virginia, and am interested in purchasing a scooter (gas is real expensive these days). In VA, a scooter under 50cc is considered a moped and does not have to be tagged titled etc. nor do you have to have a motorcycle license. if it is over 50cc it is just the opposite. how easy would it be to buy a 50 cc scooter and swap a 150 cc motor in it?? where would i purchase such a motor? any help or simply pointing me in the right direction would be much appreciated.
