first post but long time reader.
Ive got a couple of issues with my aerox 50, i can't decide whether to scrap it for another bike or to get it repaired
Ive done 2.5k miles on it in about 1 year, it had a 6 month service and its been derestricted.
in regards to it being derestricted, with the standered exhaust it came with what top speed should i be getting? it'll do no more than 45mph on the flat and no more than 50mph downhill and it really struggles to get from 45 to 50, I had it derestricted at the dealers i purchased it from and requested they fully destrict it, im now quite suprised reading that some people are getting 55mph - 60mph out of their aerox 50's on the flat - whats the difference? could it be the exhaust?
The indicator switch has died, it wont indicate right now itll only do left and it was playing up for a while, bit fiddly when it came to cancelling the indicator would have to push it in loads or cancel it by indicating the opposite direction.
The sound of the engine is EXTREMELY loud aswel, it didn't use to be as loud as it is but one day i started it up and couldn't beleive how deafening it was, im dont like riding it late at nights just incase it wakes someone!
did anyone else have the problems within 6 months of buying it new? is this common with the aerox or have i just been unfortunate?
