Hello........while renting a Lifan scooter in St.Martin I cracked an oil pan. At least I think that's an oil pan, but the owner insists that it is a part of the engine and he wants to charge me for the whole engine. Does anybody know if the pan is replacable or repairable (patch, weld...)? An idea on the price of a pan, or an engine and where to get it?
The scooter was a Lifan 125cc, approximately 2001 year, do not know the exact model but it had 2 small round headlamps and hand-guards.
Any advice would be appreciated.
