Boulevard carb problem

I have an '03 Boulevard and I'm having trouble getting it to run in wet/humid conditions. It starts, idles roughly, but then dies. Bring it in a garage to dry air and it runs fine. On some cool but dry mornings it seems to start and run better if I tip the bike back on its stand. I'm not sure what parts of the fuel system I should pull apart and check first. Any advice would be appreciated!
