It is nice to see some interest this year. There are a few well organized clubs around the area, Boston Stranglers, Boston Lady scoots, Diner City (Worchester), Idle threats (Maine). If you look at Scoot.net and the scooter BBS they have information on most of the clubs in the country and a lot of good scooter information too. Other sites of interest, Yahoo groups Two stroke Smoke and NE scoots are good.
As far as a ride goes I think a nice backroads ride is in order. Get out take it easy. get use to two wheels again. This way we can try to get a lot of people involved. Maybe doing some 40mph areas. most 50cc scooters can handle that if the govenor is removed. From what I have seen from other clubs getting a weekly, biweekly or even monthly ride and meeting is essential for keeping things organized. Just my two Cents.
