Vento R4i online manual is missing a pic of elec part #26

On the online manual there is listed under "electric II" a part called "Flasher" listed as # 26. But there is no picture of this part on the diagram. My turn signals and tail lights quit working, but they light up when I checked them with the remote, so I know they're getting power. Does anyone know what this part #96400JCCT000 is,and what it's for? I have a black cylinder shaped part aprox 2.25" long x 1.3/8" wide that has a 3 prong male permantly attached plug to it. It slips into a white circular holder behind the dash. The female plug that it plugs to has a red, a black, and an orange wire going to it. The female plug seems to have power to it but the only orange wires I have been able to trace go to the turn signals. I'm just guessing but I think this black cylinder part may be the problem. My real problem is I can't seem to find out what it is. It dosen't even have a part number on it. I sure would appreciate any help I could get. Thanks, Donna (donaejm@cox.net)
