Its been some time since I wrote about my scooter. I have had a great time with it this summer and fall, but it's getting cold out there and I slowed down on my riding.
I have put 1600 k or 1000 miles on it since I got at the end of June. I have had no mechanical problems at all, other than the fuel sensor not working when I got it, but that was easy to fix. The only problems I've had have been inflicted by my wife (exwife) just kidding. She was getting off the scooter, lost her balance and fell over (only her pride was hurt) but the scooter got a bent brake handle on the left side which broke at the pivot point. I was able to fix it with some super glue and corn starch and it's still going. A week later she hit it with the car in the driveway. I ordered a new brake handle but there seems to be a problem with delivery.
The only complaint I have with the scooter is the size of the fuel tank which is 3/4 of gal. and the speedometer which is 16% fast, which means that it reads 7 mph fast.
I have begun writing up procedures for adjusting the fuel sensor. removing the brake handle, taking off the front cover for changing the head light blub and how get to the instrument panel.
I hope to do some fine tuning this winter, and see if I can get a little more speed and power. Oh speaking of power, she will take me up any hill I've tried, it may not be fast but she does it just fine. So if any one has any thoughts for fine tuning please contact me , I would appreate it.
If you have any questions please contact me.
