RE: blown gp1 w/metrakit big bore kit

What Metrakit bore do you have? Is it the SP, Pro Race, or Hand Made? Did the bore seize up? Did your mechanic find anything else wrong like overheating, or lack of lubrication from the oil injection? Is the carb adjusted too lean? I'm asking all these questions because Metrakit products are pretty good in quality, engine failure is usually due to other causes. I have the Polini Evolution bore in my GP1 and so far after about 6000 miles it still runs strong.--vh286
