The exhaust restictor is pretty obvious. If you don't see it about 20cm down from where the exhaust comes out of the engine then it doesn't have one. Here in the US, the GP1 is sold as a moped, and therefore have all kinds of restrictors on them to slow them down. In Canada, it is probably sold as a scooter.
