Based on the speed you have gone so far, the restrictors have been removed. Check your exhaust for any kind of leak. One of the restrictors was a piece of tubing that was blocked off on one end that was connected to the exhaust pipe right where the exhaust pipe bends out from under the engine. It is removed by cutting it off and welding up the hole. There might be a leak there if it isn't welded properly.
The jets are located inside the carb. If your bike is stock, the jetting should be correct. How does the engine idle? If you want to know what the inside of the carb looks like and where the jets are located, log on to www.dellorto.com and click on Motorcycle Carburetors. Look for the PHVA carb and click on that. There you will find the exploded view of the carb. The stock jets on the GP1 are a #62 main, and #32 idle. For more info on jetting, do a Web search on motorcycle carb tuning. There are a lot of articles that detail the process. The only external carb adjustments are the idle speed, and air bleed screws.--vh286
