Scooters are economical, but...

Well, my GP1 gets great gas mileage, and is a truly fun way to travel around where I live. Sure costs less to fuel up than either of our cars.

BUT......

Having our own scoot got the wife interested. When we took our GP1 to the dealership for a scheduled routine service, she noticed a very nice 2002 Yesterday with only 300 miles on it. Had a long talk with the salesman. Talked about it all the way home (a two hour drive).

We now have two very economical scooters. I couldn't say "no", and she is as happy as can be. Rides it all the time, and is the center of attraction at her Sorpotomist chapter. Several women are considering getting a scoot.

Our grandchildren are envious!

I wonder how long it will take for the savings in fuel costs to pay for the second scoot? Hell, who cares. We are enjoying the daylights out of them.
