Ron Commo of BETA USA in Vermont recently sent me information on this scooter and hopes to get the word out on this exciting new scooter.
BETA scooters have been in production in europe for many years , and the company has been in business since 1904.
These are high-end everyday scooters... they are liquid cooled, have dual disk brakes, pirelli tires Marzocchi forks, a PAIOLI rear shock and aluminum rims. The engine is a liquid cooled minarelli 49cc and can be easily de-restricted (no that you would, right?). Ron also says that he should have a 150cc 4-stroke model available by the fall.
BETA has many after-market parts available and also produce other products such as Trials bikes, mini-cross bikes, 50ccc supermotards and enduros.
Parts are really no problem and are usually available in three to five days.
