Will this cold weather ever end. There hasn't been a day above freezing in over 2 weeks.

I am know around town as the "crazy guy on the scooter", "that wacko", or "the Nut job on the scooter" but my friends call me "insane". Riding in these extreme temperatures can take alot out of you and get your scoot pretty caked with road salt.

So last night around 10pm I decided to take my scooter down to the local carwash bay and spray it down to remove the salt before it eats it's way through my exhaust. The temperature was around 19 degrees. After spraying it down in the booth I got on and started to ride home. By the time I had gotten 1/4 mile up the road the beads of water had turned to ice and my brakes had frozen solid. Not good. I guess there is a lesson in there somewhere, but nothing that a hammer and some high revs couldn't fix.

Oh yeah, and before I forget... I stumbled upon this over at 2SB and thought it might warm your day. It did mine. :)
