Shoveling snow

Winter's in New Hampshire are harsh. That's it plain and simple. Some days it's so cold, you wonder if you should have made the extra 10 mile excursion out of your way, to get a Bagel and Coffee from your favorite breakfast stop or just taken the direct route to work. Other days it's icy and you slowly crawl around each corner hoping not to dump it. Then there are the days that you just cannot ride (even if you wanted to) because you wake up to 2 feet of snow in your driveway.
This winter has been pretty good, I was able to ride (except for 3 days) to work every day all the way up until Christmas. I see people all the time and they always say the same thing "You didn't take your scooter here, did you?" then with a smile on my face I respond "Of course I did. How else do you think I'd get here.".
Those Harley Davidson weekend warriors, want-to-be's, are not REAL. You want to see REAL, come ride with me when it's 20 degrees out. The key to cold weather riding is clothing. If you have the right clothing and a desire to ride, you don't even feel the cold.
Anyway's enough ranting about cold weather, I have to go shovel the 2 feet of snow that just buried my driveway.
