Vento Quality Issues

Many questions asked about Ventos reputation and reliability!

During the past year I have had many encounters w/ Ventos product lineup. The scooters I have much experience w/ are the R3i turbocam,R4i,R3-125cc& also the Avalanche 4 wheeler. As far as longevity issues are concerned the TRITON MODEL IS THE LOOSER of the bunch, as far as the rest of their scooter are concerned they seem to be fairly bullet proof!

As far as TOP SPEED is concerned the 125 Vento will run about 55-60+++ and return excellent fuel mileage & a VERY comfortable ride!

The R3i turbocam will run about 50-53 and seems to be intended for much shorter riders i.e. under 5.0 feet tall.

The Avalanche 4 wheeler seems to have an excellent engine and not such a good turning radius.

As far as the Triton is concerned I wont go there for example ROD BEARING failures and transmission/clutch failures.

For more info or questions pls email me at cscism@aol.com.

Well had My Phantom for 9 months and allready had to get New Plastic Handle Bar cover the Original is China you can get a Real US made Handlebar Cover from MRP speed .com

And i have a 155cc V150 BEST Power Pack with a 170cc Muffler So Later i can Upgrade to a 62mm Cylinder and won't have to Get anything Else with this Power Pack your Allready set up for More Power.... But the Old Set up Is China and is Cheap and you Must Geve it the Boot ASAP after time with China Cyclinder you Loos Power Over Time a 124cc an't really a 124 that you think with that Muffler on there,But now sure about the 2004 Models from what i know about them is that there 124cc NOT 150cc There are Still alot of 2004 Model being Written up as 2005 or 2006 Just like i said the scam Never ends.... To Check if you have a 124cc Your Muffler will Have 2 types of pipes one under the Port and a Little bigger pipe under the small..... and those Pipe that China makes don't Last 6 Months im' Sorry but i Ordered 2 of them both Failed in 5-6 months To Be Frank Just about the entire Scooter is CHINA , and the Electrical system with is Horrible im' gonna Order a MRP WireSET to replace the China Setup but once you replace all the china on the bike it will be Much more a BETTER SCOOTER but if you still have that China Set GOOD LUCK!! $$$$$$$ Rip off for the same Parts..Every 5-6 months you will Order the Same Thing Again & Again...

Hope this helps ya GoodLUCK!! Ride Safe P.S you better get rid of those Break Line it's gonna Burst real Soon....China you Know....

I bought it in NYC where I was going to school for a year, then shipped it back home to San Francisco. In NYC it was great because New York is flat, but San Francisco is hill after hill. It runs well, but it's more like a 125cc rather than a 150cc. California changed the law in January about highway usage. It's now 200cc. Also, it makes it up the hills, but slowly. I miss my Honda Elite 250cc. No offense, but a world of difference.

got mine a month ago runs great, handles good and it haves good looks, two weeks latter i left it whit the alarm off, when i tried to electric start it would not start. so i thout that i have might left the alarm on so i kick started it and went for a long ride. but after that it would not start. so i called the dealer and told me to bring the bike in for service. when i went to pick up the bike he told me that the battery was bad and the technician had to change a bad cable.but it started w/out problem. i used mi scooter for two days no problem. i dint used the bike for one day and it didnt start. called dealer again and told me he will call back, ja ja ja, tomorow im calling him again and remind him to call me before my warranty expires. beside that i am verry happy with my vento phamtom r4. does anybody knows where to find service manual for the bike the engine in specific. thanks guys.

Hi, we also bought a couple of phantoms, and we really like them, however one keeps stalling out and I can't locate the fuel level adjustment screw. The owner's maual is terrible and the website doesn't have any meaningful information. I was wondering if you had any luck finding a manual or engine diagrams?

> I just bought a Vento RR150 Thunderspeed and I am having the same problem! The electric starter will not work the next morning and it seems as though the battery is totally drained. The only way to start it is to kick start it. Also, when I assembeled the side view mirors, they came with a green and black wire and the scooter has a green, black ,and yellow wire. Am I supposed to attach the green and the black wires and leave the yellow wire dangling?
