I have been chosen as one of 6 drivers to pilot a custom painted vespa through the streets of Boston, MA.
|
The Vespa tour is this weekend, September 13th & 14th and will wind through the streets of Boston in order to create a BUZZ about Target. We will be creating a moblie billboard as we ride through Boston, silently advertising the Target Vespa Program and representing the Target's presentation of the Boston Globe Children's Book Festival.
It should be a lot of fun, and I will be sure to post photos and a follow-up story.
In order to qualify you need experience driving a vespa, no crimal record, and had to pass a drug test. Guess that's why they had to look in NH, because none of the Stranglers where able to pass the drug test. :)

Hey,
I remeber you guys when I was going to work that day going down newbury st. I rember thinking I should have rode along with you guys, but I wans't sure if I was allowed to. It still makes me giggle.

It was a fun time... too bad you couldn't make it, but I guess someone has to hold down the store. I will be posting photos pretty soon.
