Keeping Busy

Top level Scooter Journal

So busy that I haven't posted anything new in my journal since the beginning of the month.

Let's see... I have been talking to a lot of people lately, Joel Martin - CEO of Malaguti, USA as well as Darby Gippert Director of Operation for Cycle World Inc.
(Peugeot Motorcycles USA). Look for an upcoming interview with Darby Gippert in the next week or so.

I have been working on my scooter. I took out my winter jet and replaced it with my summer jet, went through and tightened loose bolts, stripped down my exhast and repainted it with high-temp paint (salt is not kind to performance pipes) as well as re-installed my famous scooter stereo system.

I am about half-way done creating a Step-by-Step guide on how to build my stereo system as well as a guide on how to change engine weights and re-jet a carb.

I have also been organizing the "Spring Fever Scooter Run" which will take place on April 26th. Sponsors so far include: Malaguti, Nault's Honda Manchester, M.O.M.'s - Motorcycles of Manchester, and The Hungry Moose. There will be FREE t-shirts for all attending as well as prizes and give-aways. If you are local to the area, please sign-up... the more the merrier.

Other than that, I've been riding my scooter everyday and loving the warmer weather.

Just a thought... Maybe Harley Davidson should make a scooter again. That would be cool. I might even buy one.
