Vento Scooters: The good, the bad and the ugly.

Top level Scooter Related News

A month of trying to contact vento to get information about their scooters has made me give up and write my article anyways...

Is it really that hard to send out some product information? Don't you have a "National Sales Manager" to do stuff like that, or maybe a secretary? Apparently not.

I have called Vento on the phone, wrote numberous emails, and even tried to visit their San Diego office while I was out there on business last week. Nothing.

I guess that is the "Bad", so what is the good you say? Well, I'll tell you. Besides having crappy customer support, they seem to have a great looking scooter with features such as ABS brakes, Remote starters, Alarms, and features you would only find on high-end scooters. Their prices are unbelievable at just $1,799 MSRP for a 150cc scooter with the above mentioned features.

There has been much discussion recently about people looking at purchasing vento scooters, but not much feedback as to whether the scooters live up to their good looks.

I'm still waiting for information from Isacc Calderon of Vento Scooters who is apparently busy with an iso 9000 audit. I will keep you updated with any information I recieve, until then you may want to hold off on purchasing that new vento scooter.
